It's the new low-impact workout that delivers as much fun as it does exercise. Bungee Fitness burns a lot of calories! You're wearing a harness which is safely attached to a bungee cord that will provide assistance and resistance throughout the class which makes your workout as tough or as easy as you want it to be. What should I wear and bring?
Long tight fitting pants, and because it might take some time to get used to the harness, you might want to layer or wear biking shorts. Our Bungee fitness classes require athletic shoes, the Bungee dance classes can be done barefoot.
Weight lifting gloves are optional. Bring plenty of water and raw ginger to combat any excessive dizziness.
Are there any age and weight restrictions?
Yes, you need to be at least 90 lbs and no more than 220 lbs. You will be weighed at your first session so we can assign you the appropriate bungee. The classes are for ages 16 years and up.
What should I expect of my first class?
In your first class, you will be weighed and assigned a bungee. Then you will learn how to put on your harness. After a short warm-up out of the bungee, we will hook you in and start your journey to Bungee fitness. Every class is only as tough as you want it to be. The bungee is there to "assist" and "resist" you!
Are there any contraindications?
If you have had recent surgery or injuries, high blood pressure, vertigo or are pregnant, you won't be able to participate in the classes.
Aerial Silks Lessons
Learn to build up enough strength to hold yourself up in the air on silks, invert and climb on them. Learn wraps, focus on proper technique and eventually learn tricks and sequences from up in the air. We focus on safety and building a strong foundation from the ground before advancing into the air.
Group classes being held:
Monday at 7pm
Thursday at 6:30pm
Each session includes warm-up, technique, conditioning and stretching.
Classes are for ages 13 and up.
